German free travel plan includes Iceland


Iceland are going to be among the destinations that German authorities decide to relax travel restrictions for starting in mid-June, if the coronavirus crisis allows.
German press agency DPA reported today that a bill is in process that might allow visit and from all European Union countries, plus the uk and therefore the four Schengen zone countries that are outside the EU: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland.

The timing of Germany’s plan coincides with the Icelandic authorities’ decide to allow people to enter the country without quarantine if they undergo COVID-19 testing at the airport, or provide certification from very recent negative testing overseas.
